Framing

Dimension lumber and plywood. Most of the wood I used for framing was used, that I got from a home demolition. It cost about 2/3 retail and was much better quality - thicker and naturally aged.

Covering the outside of the house.

Plumbing

I taught myself how to solder pipe when the downstairs tenant in the duplex I lived at the time fucked up my water heater. The secret to a good connection is clean pipe and plenty of flux. Plastic pipe is even easier, just glue it together.

Wiring

I have been playing with electricity since I was seven years old. It's probably the most enjoyable part of the project for me. I like it because it's straightforward and the results are easy to see.

Heating

This is a spinoff of plumbing and wiring, as I have a hydronic heating system.

Wood Trim

This section is for all the interior wood that isnít the flooring. Not every single door, window, or piece of trim will be shown Ė just examples.

Porch & Patio

These have become large enough projects to require their own section.

Description: This is offered as an option for monitors with high resolution (1280x960, etc.). It has the same content as the regular version, but the images are 800x800 pixels. Broadband is recommended as the image file size is 3-4 times as big.
